Study of laminar and turbulent regimes

This bench makes it possible to determine the characteristic quantities of the laminar and turbulent regimes.
The unit consists of a tube of 3 mm in diameter in which water is circulated either through a pump or with a tray loaded.
 

• Measurement of pressure loss and velocity in the tube and determination of the Reynolds number
• Determination of the critical Reynolds number
• Calculation of the friction equations according to the Darcy and Blasius equations
